Jace

HOH: 0 BOB: 0 POV: 0 Nominated: 1 Survived Eviction: 0

There's not much to say about Jace. He annoyed me from the beginning and though I couldn't entirely understand why he was James' number one target, his going first was just fine with me.

Before hitting the block, he was just trying to play the part of the goofy surfer guy, which isn't a role I care for all that much, plus he wasn't doing it well. He did bring the drama once he was nominated and his bizarre form of campaigning was one of the things that made the first week of the feeds more dramatic than most week 1s. He believed most of the lies that were told to him, and few of the truths. He berated people thinking that would somehow win him votes. It didn't, of course, nor many fans. He was unknowingly showmancing with the twins, and that could have led to some entertainment had it gone on longer.

Jace did pull out a few tricks at the end, almost managing to flip the house, though that was arguably more Audrey's doing than his. In the end, he amused us all with his "it's worse than Y2K" DR comment. And then finally, he sealed his fate at the bottom of many lists by shouting how much he like Frankie upon walking out of the house.

At the end of the day, Jace did fine with the drama, didn't get much of a chance to compete, and was rarely seen without a hat.

Da'Vonne

HOH: 0 BOB: 0 POV: 0 Nominated: 1 Survived Eviction: 0

Da'Vonne was way to good to have gone this early. She gave fantastic DR, great one-liners and was fun on both the show and the feeds. But all that being said, she made a lot of game mistakes and it cost her in the end. She played too much with her heart and too honestly for BB. She took on Audrey, which was great fun, but didn't have a way to survive when the rest of them didn't want to stand by her side.

Dae figure out the Twin Twist, but again, didn't use the information to her best advantage. Telling Jason wasn't a mistake, but letting him spill to literally everyone else was. I'm not sure Dae could have leveraged her knowledge to save herself anyway, but she didn't even really try. In the end, I'm just as glad that it all got exposed because the side-show of everyone knowing about the twins, but still pretending not to is Feeds Comedy Gold.

Dae may have gotten the Last Laugh from the Kathy Phone, but it wasn't enough to actually give her the last laugh. However, she still used it as best she could. She left them wondering if she really had the power and protected her top allies as best as she could. And on a personal level, while I never judge them for their choices, I could never leave a baby at home for 3-4 months, so if she had to go, I'm glad it was early enough that she got to home to her actual home.

At the end of the day, Da'Vonne was fantastic with the drama and entertainment, but fell a bit short on competition and strategy.

Jeff

HOH: 0 BOB: 0 POV: 0 Nominated: 1 Survived Eviction: 0

Jeff had a pre-printed target on him coming in as part of a twist and part of a known relationship. He tried to avoid the curse of it by keeping his distance from Jackie outwardly while secretly aligning with her. All that ended up doing was keeping Jackie safer. Jeff was still seen as a target and his big mouth did him no favors. He was making deals with everyone while Jackie was laying so low most people thought she wasn't aware of what show she was on. Despite all his deals Jeff made the actual power players nervous, so he was sent packing. He never won a comp, though to be fair, he barely had an opportunity to do so. He was rude and crude, and not in a funny way, and just never struck a chord with me. At the end of the day, Jeff overplayed strategically, underplayed competitively, and misplayed socially.
